Rotary engine controllers
Quick question for the rotary boys..
Just been speaking to Tom about standalone controllers on Rotary engines and he mentioned that they work as a piggy back ECU, is that correct? Something like the standard ECU controls the oil pump etc and the standalone controls fuel and spark?

Re: Rotary engine controllers
Quite common with Japanese tuning, the piggyback ECU basically allows alterations of fuel and spark as you mention with the standard ecu controlling the rest.

What he doesn't know about Rotarys, Standalones and Injectors isn't worth knowing.
