Stronger Clutch release arms
Do they exist?
I've bent the standard Corrado VR one twice now. Once with a stock clutch and now with a Helix clutch. It's a common problem, especially with uprated clutches. Stronger pressure plate springs + heat + Mild steel = Bendage.
I'm looking into getting a stronger one custom made from stainless, but in the meantime, does anyone know of a company that makes one already? Or if the 02J part from a TDI diesel is stronger?
Also, does anyone know if the PD TDI 130 228mm clutch is stronger than a stock VR6 one?

Found one and it doesn't look hard to make.

I was about to say, just weld some metal on.... The landrover ones are a similar design, but the pivot pin pushes though the arm when it's worn a little bit...
