Problems with a DTA P8 pro
Firstly hello all I'm new here so go easy on me,
I seem to be having problems loading maps onto my p8 pro, the lead is good and I can produce maps and adjust the map on the ecu, just can't load a new one. It say that it's not connected half way through uploading the map,
I should Add the map is not pin protected and I'm using xp, I have tried 4 different laptops all using xp,either home and pro, and also tried a brand new rs232 to USB converter as I thought my original had gone **** up but still no good

Re: Problems with a DTA P8 pro
Quick update!
I believe it has something to do with USB comm port allocation, I shall reinstall a fresh operating system then all the USB ports will be unallocated so the ecu should communicate between comm ports 1 to 5.
Watch this space...... If your interested that is
