Just got an audi 80 in at work with an aad 2l 8v block?

Is it anygood for anything? could i stick the valver head on it?

From what I can make out, the AAD block is the same as the 2E. So, tall block, 82.50×92.80, 1984cc. You could stick a 16v head on it, but as with the 2E you'll need to use the valvers intermediate shaft/pulley, crank pulley and oil pump. You'll also benefit from valve clearancing the pistons (as Rob has done, and I'm going to do).

Oh, the only other thing that it might have is a toothed wheel on the crank for crank sensor, but not sure on that.
