just depends on the buyer.
I'd sell something like that on ebayer and just see how much people are wiling to pay.

Re: Gooney - being reborn
The indicator stalk is not working at the mo, but other than that it runs well.
Re: Gooney - being reborn
They were knackered at the load proportioning valve. I just need to get some brake unions with the correct pitch thread (M10x1 IIRC) and fit them.
Re: Gooney - being reborn
Bought some more brake unions (proper pitch thread this time hopefully), bottom ball joints, tie rod ends and ARB drop links ordered tonight. Going to fit the front wishbones to the Goonster, as I'm confident it wont pass an MOT without them.
Re: Gooney - being reborn
Dude, you going to be working on your car this weekend?

Re: Gooney - being reborn
Probably not, as it's looking like I've contracted glandular fever from Mrs B! Had a free weekend this weekend too. I'll see how I feel, but not hopeful....

Re: Gooney - being reborn
Bottom ball joints, tie rod ends and drop links arrived today from VWSpares. Oh, and a Clarke 3/8" breaker bar...finally haha!
Re: Gooney - being reborn
Braved the garage today for 2*20minutes, and made 4 out of the 5 brake lines required. Ran out of copper brake line, so need to order some more. I think I might do the front lines as well as a matter of course, as I'll there will probably be a minimum order quantity on the copper line.
Feel like **** now, mind. Viral illnesses suck.

Re: Gooney - being reborn
Brakelines are poo bags, one job that really takes a fraction of the time when you are doing it on a ramp.
Been working on my garage as opposed to the car, fixed the leaking roof, painted the floor, emptied all the crap into the roof so it's all on one place to sort through and am painting the walls.
Need to get some kitchen units to stick on one wall, some Kingspan foam in insulate the roof and it should be a nice place to work in this winter.

Re: Gooney - being reborn
To be fair, probably not. IVF taking place in a few months, so if I do, I had better get on with it!
I've lost the love a little to be honest. I could do with being able to drive the bloody thing, but there is always something else that needs paying for!
I'm not saying anything until I get the thing on the road...but it's on the gravel driveway, and is a pain in the ar$e to work under!
Maybe I should quit my winging and get on with it.....

I feel your pain about the corrado plans.
Didn't know about the IVF, I hope it all goes well. Recently had 2 miscarriages in our family, one over christmas which kinda f'ed the whole thing up for me. But in a way, made me realise how precious life can be....ok enough soppy stuff
Ditto gravel drive. Mine's not even where I live either! It seems between uni, the fiancee and my car, something gets my time and the other 2 suffer for it :/ CAD has given me all these great plans, and ideas, but most are above my skill level and all are above my budget. It can be nice to dream though
