stupid question time.
You can't remove the cam chain sprocket from the intake cam can u?!??

I was looking at one of these.

I'd imagine they are and interferance fit, requiring a bit of heat and a puller/press? Maybe?

They press of. However word of warning these are a nightmare to setup and you run the risk of bolts coming undone inside the head. So only invest if you are going to have positive gains from it. i.e. on a standard cam you wont.
Alternativelly fiddling with overlap to change to FI it is feasible but you need to get the right cam profiles first.

yes, ive had them pressed off in the past to have new keyways cut.

Expensive fookers aswell...,i welded on my exh-as-inlet cam's sproket.

^^^^ why? You are aware all you have to do is flip the sprocket over so the teeth align correctly and then remark th TDC point?
