cleaning and re-packing cv joints
OK, I've got all 4 cv joints off the car and I'm reasonably well practiced at taking the bearings and cage out and reassembling,
Question is, what the best way to clean and repack with grease?
I want everything as clean as possible and the grease correctly spread/packed in, new boots ready and waiting. what's best to clean all the bits with?, I've wiped most of the old cv grease away.

Check all the ball bearings for little scarrs while you are at it, PITA to change a CV joint afterwards, means getting cold lying on you back cursing.
