LOL, Spark plugs have been around for 150 years for a reason - they work! Ditto the piston engine. Nothing has yet come close to replacing it, electric excluded.

I also fail to see how a spark system relying on optics is going to cope with a carboned up 'lense'?

A completetly pointless venture if you ask me Smile
