2ltr ABF into a Corrado
As usual my long term plans have changed again, with the new ECU I figure it is easier to use the 2ltr ABF block as it already contains all the required sensors for crank and cam positioning as well as giving me a 200cc increase in displacement.
So given the ABF is taller than a KR or 9A unit but that it is a straight fit into a Mk 2 will it fit under my early low bonnet?
My gut reaction is it will as I don't need the manifold space on top of the block, anyone got any measurements for the height of an ABF?

I think it's 15mm higher than normal.
There's a guy in Winchester with an ABF in his early corrado. Not sure which bonnet he has, but it's in there fairly tidily. The issue you might have is that the exhaust manifold may fowl on the underside of the body.

Humn, 15mm is tiny and I have a different spec downpipe with a braided flexi coupling anyway, should be enough play in the existing system to take up the 15mm without over-stressing the exhaust.
Best keep an eye out for a good ABF unit then.
