Nissan Pulsar GTi-R Turbo Specs

Post by dirtytorque on Mon Nov 24, 2008 8:20 am

My neighbour had one of these.
Ugly little thing that looked and sounded..well a bit chavy.

However..... on speaking to said neighbour he tells me that they are a rare and underated car etc.
He was selling his and he wanted 3k for it.
I thought that was mad.In fact me and my girlfreind laughed about it.
Anyway I have been meaning to read about them to try and find out why anyone in their right mind would want one and well I can see the appeal now.
No I will not be buying one however they are an impressive little package.

bog standard.
213 ft lbs
220 bhp.
4wd

bit heavy for a hatch at 1.2 kg but I guess thats the 4wd.

It's definately a wolf in dodgy sheeps clothing.
Excellent tuning base.
Shame about the max power looks.
Neutral

Yes i'm bored.

I had a mate up in Shrewsbury who had one of these. I'm sure he was pushing upwards of 500 horse in it too. Not my taste visually either, but then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

thats is absurd.LOL.
I'd love to drive one.
I'd be so upset if a micra buried me at the lights.
I'd have to get a new hobby.

Who is it aimed at tho?
I always thought micras attracted mr Mcgoo types who drive annoyingly slow with their knees up around their ears. Very Happy

AFAIK, the intake system uses 4 throttle bodies as standard. Not a bad piece of design really.

I guess Nissan ship so many cars to the greater public they can afford every now and then to just let their engineers go nuts.Even if it isn't going to be a money spinner.

It is an Odd car.
I looks awful but ...
