Now, dont tell anyone . Its 02A with vr 1-4 and tdi 5th using vr final drive. With a Peloquin ATB diff. Works a treat. Only stripped 3rd once which was my fault. It also has 02J selector. Much better than 02A although it often misses 3rd if you rush it! Need sequential box really.

You must be getting plenty of traction with those front tyres, at what point can you give it full throttle down the track?

To be fair, I've heard a few times that the Quaife if shit! Wink

I'd love to see this run down the track. Sub 3 sec 0-60 is fapping awesome. So I'm guessing it's not a standard block?

It is standard block. They're bomb proof! It has Pauter I beam rods and JE pistons. 82.5mm. Standard crank. Mildly ported small port head. 1 piece exhaust valves. Standard cams. I dont like to change things for the sake of it! VW know what they're doing!! Very Happy
If you check out VWDRC.com the race meets for next year should be on there. We need more Pro cars. Why not join? You need to run quicker than 12.99 to be in Pro. Slower than this and you'd run in Sportsman.

Also interesting that you use a ported small port head, any reason why? Are you using an AGU as well then?

The VWDRC is bracket racing where you dial in the time you think you are going to run. Run quicker and you're disqualified! Its so cars of different speeds can race together. Slower car getting a head start. I would call it proper racing!! Razz Its great! You need good reactions and be consistant on your runs.
Big port gives a bit more top end but loses bottom end. For road use small port is the way to go. Its not all about max hp bragging rights!! Having said that, my new engine is big port and i may swap it over to help me on the strip!
